Jupiter NEXT

It was my first time staying at the Jupiter Next and it won't be the last! I checked-in after hours because of a red-eye flight with no issue as they have flexibility with check-in. My room was clean with a much appreciated welcome snack pack. I ended up extending my stay because of the winter storm but enjoyed food from Hey Love downstairs and the assortment of spicy ramen I was able to purchase from their lobby bar. Overall, it's one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. The modern, thoughtful conveniences that were offered are exemplary.

I can't get too excited about the location, since it's on Burnside, however the room was great and the entire staff was amazing and wanted to hold them up. We had to get a hotel when our waterline froze in the recent ice storm, and they were handling everybody else that was displaced from a nearby apartment building that flooded as well. From the front desk, the maintenance team, even security - everybody was so courteous and helpful.

The Hotel was wonderful, the service was very good. We tried to use the low voltage chargers in the two bedside lamps but neither worked. Lighting was confusing, with a local control switch at each overhead or wall mounted fixture that was controlled by a master switch at the door. One of the first time in over 55 years of traveling there was no coffee in the room. Just our thoughts

The service and check in experience were horrendous. Don't be fooled by the email allowing you to pick a check in time - you cannot check in until after 4pm and in our case they didn't have our room "inspected" and ready until 4:45 - leaving us no time to get ready and make a 5pm wedding ceremony - despite our pre-arranged "3:10 arrival." Furthermore, the staff members at the desk repeatedly gave the same excuse (awaiting inspection, lots of checkouts and rooms to turnover [despite 10am checkout time...]) and were inexplicably rude. I watched/overheard them patronize another guest in our same situation and even threatened to cancel her reservation when she verbalized her frustrations (again, right before the wedding we were all attending upstairs). That couple ended up getting ready for the wedding in their main lobby's bathroom because they did not prepare a room for them in time. Not only would I not recommend staying here - I would highly advise against it unless they're attitude and efficiency changes. Also beware, the parking lots (outdoor and indoor) fill up fast and the staff does not know when they fill but will keep selling/handing out the passes. Street parking is also risky here and valuables should not be left in the car. Once into the rooms, they're decent. Beds are comfy. Our room did not have an iron or ironing table like other rooms, likely overlooked on that extensive inspection for which we waited an hour and a half. There's also no coffee in your room - just one pot in the lobby that was empty when I checked mid morning.

I can't quite put into words how incredible this place and staff is! Jupiter NEXT is a trendy & friendly spot in PDX perfect for adventurous, artsy folks. I first stayed here on a girls' trip with my friend and later considered them for my wedding weekend. After chatting with Eden in sales about our wedding needs, we were SOLD! The entire sales team - Eden, Jake, and others made our wedding weekend so special. The front desk staff was also friendly, accommodating, and just all around super rad! We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the DreamBOX space at Jupiter Original and our guests stayed in a room block at Jupiter NEXT. All of our guests raved about the hotel and the staff and many can't wait to come back. Eden made our event experience so smooth - there wasn't a stressful part about the evening whatsoever! She helped coordinate day-of setup and made sure our delivery caterer had ramp access. We also opted to hire one of Jupiter's bartenders and she was equally incredible and went out of the way to help with things outside of her hired duties! Had we not already picked our wedding venue elsewhere, it's safe to say we could have had a pretty magical wedding at Jupiter! We did not have the same ease of experience when we considered other hotels in the area - timely communication and true hospitality is hard to come by in this industry. We highly recommend hosting any size event at this hotel - the experience is simply unmatched! Thank you, Jupiter!

Bright, clean and trendy, located in a nice walkable area. We booked the next after seeing that the original can be loud at night in the reviews and we're very happy with that decision. Great view of the city from the 6th floor and great coffee in the lobby. We paid for an above-ground parking spot and had no issues. Definitely recommend!
